Shae with the ball.Last weekend we spent some time in Marysville, CA. Shae had a soccer tournament at the Wheeler Soccer Complex. Halloween tournaments are always fun because the kids get to change up their uniforms and design something different. Shae's team went with a fire logo on a lightly tie-dyed shirt.
Their first game Saturday morning was a 0-0 tie game. Their second game Saturday was a 0-0 tie. Sunday morning the won 1-0. This put them into the Consolation game to see who would take 3rd and 4th place (out of eight teams). They were tied 0-0 when the game ended and they ended up going into double over time with a win in the final minute. 1-0 final for Heat!
They took 3rd place in the tournament with the 1st place champion having been a team they tied 0-0 the first day. This was a really close tournament for all involved!
Lots of fun and another trophy to add to Shae's shelf!
